Ebi Nigiri is a traditional Japanese sushi dish that has fresh spot shrimp on top of sushi rice that has been seasoned. When you mix the sweet shrimp with the sour rice, you get a wonderful flavor combination.

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Wasabi paste
  • Soy sauce

Instructions:

Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions

In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved

Take a small amount of sushi rice and shape it into an oblong mound

Place a piece of spot shrimp on top of the rice, pressing gently to adhere
