Keto Pizza Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 head of cabbage, leaves separated
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce sugar-free for keto
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
Bring a large pot of water to a boil
Blanch cabbage leaves in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then remove and set aside to cool
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned
Drain excess fat
Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper
Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through
Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf
Roll up the leaves, tucking in the sides as you go, to form cabbage rolls
Place the cabbage rolls seam side down in a baking dish
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly
Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired before serving
