Mashed Potato Casserole with Sour Cream and Chives
This Mashed Potato Casserole with Sour Cream and Chives is a creamy, comforting side dish perfect for any meal. Ingredients:
- 5 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
In salted water, boil potatoes for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are soft
Put the potatoes in a bowl and add the sour cream, butter, and milk
Mash the potatoes until they are smooth
Add chives and half of the cheddar cheese and mix well
Add pepper and salt
Put the mashed potatoes in a casserole dish that has been greased
Add the rest of the cheddar cheese and chives on top
It needs to be baked for 25 to 30 minutes so the cheese melts and bubbles
