Bulgogi BBQ Pork Tacos
Enjoy the fusion of flavors with Bulgogi BBQ Pork Tacos. The pork is marinated in a savory blend of soy, sesame, and mirin, then cooked to perfection. Serve in warm tortillas, topped with a zesty Charred Tomatillo Sesame Sauce and a refreshing Spring Onion Slaw.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound pork shoulder, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Corn tortillas, for serving
Instructions:
To make the bulgogi marinade, put soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl
Make sure the pork shoulder is well covered when you add it to the marinade after being thinly sliced
Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or put it in the fridge overnight for even more flavor
Put vegetable oil in a pan and set it over medium-high heat
About 5 to 7 minutes of cooking will make the pork slices caramelized and fully cooked
You can warm corn tortillas in the oven or on a pan
Put the Bulgogi BBQ Pork on warm tortillas and top them with Spring Onion Slaw and Charred Tomatillo Sesame Sauce
If you want, you can add more sauce and garnish with extra spring onions
